About the show:

To save the apple of your eye, would you give up the eye itself? Can Odin gain more insight by seeing less? And how can he defend his son against blind envy? In this, perhaps the greatest of Norse myths, we follow a father protecting his child, we grieve at the loss of light and take comfort in the hope of its return.

Bio:

Giles Abbott became a storyteller after sudden & severe, but not total, sight loss when he was 25. He has performed nationally and internationally since, creating a new touring set every two years, appearing throughout the UK, in Europe, India, Egypt. He has a “commanding stage presence”, a “poetic flair for language” and “a voice like melted chocolate”. Something to add to your waffles perhaps?
